Cancellations

There are a million reasons to have a cancellation policy, which I could go on about. But these days a cancellation policy is standard in hair and beauty so I will just outline what mine entails:

Appointments must be cancelled with a minimum of 24 hours notice

Failure to do so will result in a 100% cancellation fee and a required £30 deposit for the next appointment

The deposit will come off the cost of your service, provided the appointment takes place

No show appointments will also result in a 100% cancellation fee.

Consultations and Patch Tests

All clients must have a patch test at least 48 hours prior to any colour service

This is non negotiable and a legal requirement that all hairdressers should comply with for new clients

The test itself consists of some colour being applied behind the ear and wiped off before bed, any reaction means other colour might need to be used or that I just can’t do any chemical service

It’s a great opportunity for me to meet new clients and give an accurate price for things, as well as a clearer idea for us both of what lies ahead

I like to think it’s a great opportunity for new folk to see if they like the feel of the salon and practice getting here too.

Consultations are £5, this charge will act as a deposit for any colour service.
